Isaiah 59:19

¹⁹ So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

Psalm 18:17

¹⁷ He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

• Prevail: Prove more powerful than opposing forces; be victorious.

God has given us as his people the power to prevail against the enemy! God has also placed his Holy Spirit in us as the believer that causes us to stand against the enemy and defeat his evil forces. Even when we think we can not go forward, God assures us through his word that he will lift up a standard against the enemy. Be encourage saints of God because you have the power to prevail!
